How matching works

  1. You open a work order. Service, metro, urgency, and a plain description of the job.
  2. The board ranks the metro. Listings and paying members in your state are scored by the published formula; businesses in your city rank ahead of the wider state.
  3. You get up to three matches. Names, ratings, and badges up front. Unclaimed listings are labelled Unclaimed; a Verified badge means a license and insurance check passed. Your job is sent only to paying member businesses among your matches: a member that receives it may reply to you directly, and if no paying member matches, no reply may come.
  4. You hire directly. No fee to you, no contract with us. The agreement is between you and the business.

Highest ranked on the board

Top listings directory-wide under the published formula. Unclaimed listings score zero on verification, so this list runs on review strength; a verified member can outrank it. That trade-off is deliberate and explained on the rankings page.
