Pricing for Plumbing Businesses

Pricing

Three tiers, published prices, in US dollars per month. This page is the complete commercial offer of Directory of Plumbers to plumbing businesses: if a feature is not listed under a tier here, that tier does not include it.

What is open today: Listed and Verified. Featured is published here in full, at its launch price, so the complete offer is on the record before it opens. Verified opened once the directory's verification checker had been proven against the Texas license register, because the Verified badge is only worth selling once the checks behind it demonstrably work. Until Featured opens, the join form does not offer it and no payment for Featured is accepted.

What Each Term Means

Published listing. Your business appears in the directory under its name, in the metro and categories on its profile, where homeowners browsing or searching the directory can find and contact it.

Verification and the Verified badge. Verification follows the process published on How We Verify: a claim check, a license check read back against the issuing authority you name, and an insurance check against your certificate and its expiry date. The badge is shown after those checks pass, and only while they remain current. Until they pass, the listing shows Verification Pending. The license read-back is automated for issuing authorities whose registers are wired into our checker (the Texas register today); for other authorities, the register is checked by a reviewer, which takes longer, and we do not promise a completion time. No tier, including Featured, displays the badge before the checks pass.

Featured placement. A Featured business is placed at the top of its city results and first in match results for its service area, and that placement is labelled Featured where it appears. The full rules, including how placement sits alongside the ranking formula that orders every other result, are published on How Rankings Work. Homeowners can read the same rules you can.

Terms That Apply to Every Tier

Every tier is a monthly subscription. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices on this page are the current prices for new and renewing subscriptions. If prices change in future, the change will be published on this page.

Payment never buys a review figure, a ranking score inside the published formula, the removal of negative information, or a recommendation in our editorial guides. Review figures are governed by the Review Policy and are outside every tier. Editorial recommendations cannot be bought at all, under our Editorial Guidelines.

What Homeowners Pay

Nothing. Searching the directory, reading listings and guides, and requesting a match through Get Matched are free for homeowners, on every page, without exception. The directory is funded by the business tiers on this page.

Choosing a Tier

Choose Listed if a published directory presence is what you need. Choose Verified if you want the document checks run and the badge shown once they pass: verification is also the largest single component, at 40 percent, of the published ranking formula, so a passed check affects your ordered position as well as your badge, in the open and by the stated weights. Choose Featured, when it opens, if, in addition, top placement in your city results and first position in match results are worth the difference to your business. The decision aid is the same one we give homeowners: read the rules first, on How Rankings Work and How We Verify, then decide. When you are ready, the steps are on the Join page.
